Is it true that the more HD space you have your computer will run faster, and better?
I recently bought an extra external Hard Drive, because my computer I have now doesn’t have a whole lot of space built in. Actually it only has 50 GB of space built in. So I really would like to know since I bought another external HD with tons of extra space, will having more space on my computer make it run faster, and smoother, also what are the advantages of having more HD space?
Its true to an extent, but not really.
If you have less than 10% of your hard drive space left you will probably experience degraded performance.
However if you run a defrag often that shouldn’t really cause too many problems anyway.
It only really effects performance when you have very little space left.
