what do I NEED to buy for my new ds lite – for protection and play.?
I know there is a ton of stuff the manufacturer wants me to buy, but I have limited funds. So what is my best use of my money, besides the games, of course.
Honestly? You don’t need any of that junk. Everything you need comes with the console: a charging cable and a spare stylus.
Any old headphones’ll work with a DS Lite, so there’s no use in buying a specific set for them. If you have a purse or a large pocket, you don’t really need a console carrying case. Since you’ve got two styli, there’s no use in buying more unless you manage to lose them both.
Only accessories I ever bothered with are the little game card cases, so you can carry cartridges around without worrying about them getting damaged.
Other than that, the only thing I’d say could be a worthy investment would be a screen protector for the touch screen.
