Nintendo Wii??
Ok I started thinking about something. You know those cards (example 2000 point cards) that allow you to buy Virtual Games, like from the NES? Do you have to have the internet adaptor thing?
And if you need that internet adaptor thing, can you tell me where to plug it into my Wii, just so I know? THanks!
The Internet Adaptor thing…pretty sure that’s the one where you can get on the internet on your Wii. I was planning on buying it one day but I’d like to know if I needed it to buy the point cards

I have my Wii, and have been using it ever since they first became available in November of last year.
As for the Wii Points card, no, you don’t need an Internet connection to add the points, but, however, you do need an Internet connection to be able to use the Virtual Console to be able to download games.
If you have a wi-fi network in your home, then you don’t need any other devices ’cause the Wii has built-in wi-fi capabilities. If, however, you don’t have a wi-fi, then you’ll need to either buy Internet adapter that you can plug into one of the Wii’s USB slots that will give you what’s called an Ethernet connection, where you can plug an Ethernet Cable straight from the Wii to your router. It will require a high-speed connection. It won’t be possible on a dial-up.
